Places, Please! An Afternoon of Broadway Favorites

Take your seat and let the music begin! Places, Please! is an afternoon of Broadway favorites performed by piano and voice, celebrating the unforgettable songs, characters, and stories that have made the American musical a beloved art form. From soaring ballads to clever showstoppers, this lively program offers something for every Broadway fan—and a few delightful surprises along the way.

Pianist Allison Anderson will be joined by vocalists Devin Cameron and Sami Ryan, all gifted performers, musicians and arts advocates.

Sami Ryan A lifelong performer, Sami has worked with the Ammon Arts Community Theater, appearing in many productions including Something Rotten, Secret Garden, Wind in the Willows andn Honk! In recent years, she has also been featured as a soloist for regional concerts. Sami loves art in all its forms and is honored to perform with two other incredible musicians.

Devin Cameron is an artist, maker, and performer with a deep passion for musical theater. Most recently, he played the sinister Citizen Chauvelin in The Scarlet Pimpernel. Other favorite roles include Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun, Ramses in The Prince of Egypt, Beast in Beauty and the Beast, and Shrek in Shrek the Musical. Allison Andersen is a pianist, conductor, and arts advocate dedicated to bringing music to audiences throughout Eastern Idaho. She currently serves as Music Director of the Idaho Falls Opera Theatre, where she has been involved in musical direction, production, and performance, and she is also a collaborative pianist with the East Idaho Youth Chorus. Allison’s work in the arts extends beyond performance to arts education, community engagement, and creating opportunities for audiences and artists to experience the transformative power of music. She also serves  as Music Coordinator at Trinity United Methodist Church providing Sunday worship music with special local guests and three free concerts a year.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Music with an emphasis in Piano from BYU–Idaho and is finishing her MBA. Through her work as a musician, educator, and arts leader, Allison is passionate about making classical music and musical theatre accessible, engaging, and meaningful to her community.
